Chef Rosie Batista's Winning Recipe: Classic Coquito

Chef Rosie Batista is a culinary graduate and mom- she does it all! Inspired by her Dominican heritage, she shared her classic coquito recipe with us- and you- for the holiday season!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. evaporated milk
  • 15 oz. cream of coconut
  • 13.5 oz coconut milk
  • 14 oz. condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cup coconut rum
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup coconut water

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients together and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours to thicken.
  • Pour into individual glasses and top with cinnamon and star anise (optional).

  • 12 oz. leche evaporada
  • 15 oz. crema de coco
  • 13.5 oz de leche de coco
  • 14 oz. leche condensada
  • 1 cucharada de extracto de vainilla
  • 1 ¼ taza de ron de coco
  • 2 cucharaditas de canela en polvo
  • 1 taza de agua de coco

Direcciones:

  • Mezcle todos los ingredientes y refrigere de 3 a 4 horas para espesar.
  • Vierta en vasos individuales y cubra con canela y anís estrellado (opcional).
