Chef Rosie Batista is a culinary graduate and mom- she does it all! Inspired by her Dominican heritage, she shared her classic coquito recipe with us- and you- for the holiday season!
12 oz. evaporated milk
15 oz. cream of coconut
13.5 oz coconut milk
14 oz. condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup coconut rum
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup coconut water
Blend all ingredients together and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours to thicken.
Pour into individual glasses and top with cinnamon and star anise (optional).
12 oz. leche evaporada
15 oz. crema de coco
13.5 oz de leche de coco
14 oz. leche condensada
1 cucharada de extracto de vainilla
1 ¼ taza de ron de coco
2 cucharaditas de canela en polvo
1 taza de agua de coco
Mezcle todos los ingredientes y refrigere de 3 a 4 horas para espesar.
Vierta en vasos individuales y cubra con canela y anís estrellado (opcional).
