Chef Rosie Batista's Pechugas Empanizadas with Kikkoman Panko breadcrumbs

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs think sliced chicken breast 
  • Juice of 1 lime 
  • 1 tbsp adobo 
  • 1/2 tbsp oregano 
  • 2 garlic cloves 
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs 
  • 2 cups Kikoman panco breadcrumbs 
  • 4 tbsp Colavita oil
  • 2 tbsp butter 

Directions:

  1. Season the chicken breast with adobo, oregano, salt, black pepper, and garlic
  2. Egg wash the chicken
  3. Coat the egg-washed chicken in bread crumbs
  4. In a pan add oil and butter
  5. Fry the chicken for 5-6 min each side until golden brown
