Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Bites with Cilantro-Jalapeño Chimichurri

Ingredients:
Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Bites:
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) GOYA® Queso de Freir
- 2 tbsp. GOYA® Wheat Flour
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
Cilantro-Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce:
- 2 peppers from one can GOYA® Jalapeño Peppers, finely chopped
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
- 4 tsp. GOYA® Lime Juice
- 2 tsp. GOYA® Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp. GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper
- ½ tsp. GOYA® Ground Cumin
- ½ tsp. GOYA® Oregano Leaf
- ¼ tsp. GOYA® Crushed Red Pepper
Directions:
- Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Bites: Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes.
- Transfer flour to shallow bowl. Whisk egg in second shallow bowl. Transfer breadcrumbs to third shallow bowl. Dredge cheese cubes in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Lightly spray air-fry basket with olive oil spray. In batches, arrange breaded cheese cubes in air-fryer basket in single layer without overlapping. Lightly spray cheese cubes with olive oil spray.
- Air-fry, turning halfway through the cook time, for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Cilantro-Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce: In medium bowl, stir together jalapeños, cilantro, oil, lime juice, garlic, adobo seasoning, cumin, oregano and crushed red peppers.
- Arrange crispy cheese bites on serving platter. Serve with chimichurri sauce.
Notes:
· For a party appetizer, serve with cocktail toothpicks or thread air-fried cheese onto mini skewers.
· Prepare chimichurri sauce up to 3 days in advance and store in airtight container in refrigerator.
